Hey Friends, Once again CEAns have shown their competence in the most competitive exam ,GATE .

Last year Jacob Mathew of EA 2009 batch(GATE AIR 119(ECE)),the Gate topper from CEA showed us GATE can be tackled with dedication and handwork.It seems that more guys got the panacea pill this year.

Top most on the list is Satyanand Abraham with AIR 62 (mechanical).

Arun Kumar V and Dileep S are in the race managing to secure AIRS 617 and in 700s in ECE stream respectively.All these guys are from the 2009 batch.

Its a jan 11 again and CEAlive has completed its first year online.During this occasion we would like to thank everyone who had helped us along the way.We would like to thank all outside Cea who has found time to go through our pages and provide us with feed back.We present a small report of CEAlives first year.

Cealive is part of a the campusblogs which was an innovative idea by Mr.Kenney Jacob (an alumnus of CEA).CEAlive was the fifth blog to join the network and now it has many siblings.

I know it’s a bit early, but incase I forget or don’t have time or don’t make it or get hold of you I am just taking this opportunity to thank everyone , I mean EVERYONE , who made 2009 a fabulous year..
Hoping 2010 will be even better.

· For all those I’ve made promises to and never kept – it was not deliberate but I will “improve” in 2010.

Those that I owe lunches, movies, night out , etc…, I’ll fix that as well,I’ll make time . For sure.

For those I’ve disagreed with, argued with and just never got along with……well, I’m Sorry!!!!!!! Let’s try again next year.

Its BarCamp time again in Kerala We are holding BarCamp Kerala 7 on 20^th of December ! BarCamp Kerala(or BCK) is the biggest and coolest techy event in Kerala.

For those of you who don’t know what a BarCamp is…

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event

Fraternity Of Royal United Mechanicals(F.O.R.U.M.), College Of Engineering, Adoor proudly present PRAGNJA ‘09…A 3 day techex extravaganzaon 16, 17 and 18 of the month of february.

The main attraction of the event is the exhibition by I.S.R.O.(Exclusive exhibits of Chandrayan-I) and a talk by Dr. V.P. Gangadharan(Group head technology transfer and documentation,V.S.S.C.)

Other attractions include inter collegiate competitions like Quiz, Deabte, Technical word hunt, CAD competition, Machine parts identification and LAN Gaming.

In addition to these, there are many exhibitons like Gun expo, Remote controlled exhibits, Tech expo, Glorious India(exhibition on technical advancement on ancient India), Mobile exhibit van from Priyadarshini Planetaurium, and many more…..

Relative to standard Internet hosting, this provides a significant reduction in the original distributor’s hardware and bandwidth resource costs. It also provides redundancy against system problems and reduces dependence on the original distributor.
