who in total rocked the scene!Alongside..an overwhelming air of

thrill and exhaltation.there was more to the growing tension and

prayers,..which in total built up for what was an exciting and exhiarative

Sports Meet!!!

Ok,..guys…

Well,….CEA herer hoisted its Annual sports MEEt…yesterday

on 4th March 2009,and on a round basis..fascinating and frisk.

WEgive a round of applause to all those who participated..

C’mon…we’ve got d new juniors..out here….who really gave in to

Annual Sports meet was conducted succesfully on march 4,2009 in the college ground.Participation by students in various streams of competition was considerable.Following were the main events.

1. 100 meter race
2. 400 meter race
3. 800 meter race
4. 1500 meter race
5. Javelin throw
6. Discus throw
7. Relay
8. Triple jump
9. Long jump

Many of our students performed to their peaks in these events.To highlight a few, Misha B of S6EA got 1^st in in 100m,400m,800m girls race. She is the girls champion.Bijesh K.T of S6EA  and Rajmohan of S6 ME are the boys champs.In both relay, computer science emerged as winners.The sportsday ended at 5.30pm and it was a great success.The computer science branch leading the sports meet with 229 points,where football,cricket,tabletennis,basketball are remaing.

Yesterday there was a meeting for the moderators and activist of CEALIVE blog,which is unofficially,the official portal of College of Engineering Adoor.The Meeting focused the major issues like

1. Site Administration.
2. Moderator’s works.
3. how to integrate the CEAians and make the blog a success.
4. How to Uplift the creative technocrats of CEA.
5. General Decision Regarding Site updates and making Post.
6. The major decision taken was regarding commenting for various POST’s.In order to make  to to make a post a success,comments are important requirement.So Comment the post and make the blog a success.
7. Participation of EC,CS, ME Branches.

The team from CEA consisting of Lenny philip rajan (S6 EA/ece 2010) and Sweety kuriakose (S6 EB/ece 2010) won the second prize at the quiz competition at Dyuthi 2009,a techfest organised by the electrical and electronics department of St gits college of engineering,pathamuttom.

Praveen B and Sreekanth S of S4 mechanical got first place in mechanical assembling in Jashn-E-Khaaz,an event organised by mechanical division of Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology,Pathanamthitta..There were 3 rounds in the competition.

There was 1. preliminary rounds-quiz,puzzle

2.memory testing round and

finally the machine assembling.They assembled a “Differential Unit”

The royal mex of musaliar college of engineering and technology,pathanamthitta conducted a tech fest JASHN-E-KHAAZ on 6 th and 7th of feb.On the first day,thr was a bike stunt by the Ghost Ryderz(trivandrum team…)It really was a kildilan one..I took some videos and have posted it here.check them out !!
