CEA started the Campus connect Soft Skills Program for the 4th and 6th semester students today,Feb 25th,2010.
Soft Skills Program
The purpose of the Soft Skills Program is to bridge the gap commonly noticed in engineering students in the areas of communication, team work, corporate and corporate work culture and so on. This is a program delivered in multiple modes.
The different modules of this program are,
-
1 – Business Communication Skills
2 – Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Relationship Skills
3 – Campus to Company
4 – Presentations / Group Discussions / Interviews
5 – Entrepreneurial Skills Development
All these 5 modules are delivered thru lectures, games, interactive sessions, activities, group discussions, etc. The aim is to enable the students to learn thru fun ensuring that the learning remain with the students and can be applied while embarking on a career.
Further,the students need to complete 5 development assignments (60 hours) to reinforce their learning. The subjects for the assignments will be given to the students after they have gone thru the first part. We would give them the assignments and also assess them and this forms part of final report which is submitted to Infosys after which the certificate is awarded to the student.
