mini OR MINI

Our B TECH mini projects are not any moremini they are mega projects challenging even a industry standard design !!!!?

Did any body pave attention to the pathetic situation of the students doing these …..

This has become a celebration rather than meeting the intentions of doing academic project pescribed varsities (by students itself,)

teachers also looking for something spectaculous in a stipulated time that too from a third yearb tech student . Poor students will be forced to buy modules at any cost and assemble them with the help of project centres ,whos IS therE to give them advice /guidence

EVERYbody is forgetting the scope and limits of a academic mini project.HOW

many students get a exact involvment in the design and devolempment, all

are just copying and assembling;

do you know ?

assembling soldering etc are done by ITE or at most by diploma people , in a company !!!

faculties should promote those things which are expected to be done by engineering graduates

other wise this academic excercise will become a SHEER time pass and money

lose;when students are forced to go for an Hi Fi item things goes out from there brain and hands.

It is a mania affecting all the regional engineering colleges across india. Project centres are having a harvest time

SO before doing mini/major project:

please think
: about what you can, not WHAT the project centres CAN

:what are the academic skills you learned ,
:how much time you will get to complete it
: at last ,was that my design ?

then i am doing it with full of MY heart and it is fruitful

this is the truth of what we call a mini or main project it is the work “of the student” “for marks” but done “by an institute” .the main goal of the project that is the exposure to a new tech is rarely achieved

u r rite sandeep..but marks are also a factor..talking abt the project wat the students do is tht they simply buy any big projects from any institutions..the students dont even know how the project works, but they can score marks easily if they present it neatly..

    very true…
Students who do the projects themself suffer the worst..the busy academic schedule discourages creative minds and force the to buy finished products.
